Frequently Asked Questions

Where is C+T clothing made?

Each item is handmade by me, with love, in my home in Idaho.

When will I receive my order?

Each item is handmade to order. While I try to stick to a six week turnaround, I am a mother of two young children, one of which has high needs that often require extra attention and time. My priorities as a mother must come first, and I will notify you of any delays to your order.

Note: Turn around times only pertain to my time to create, finish, and drop off your order for shipment. This DOES NOT include the time it takes for your order to be shipped or guarantee its arrival once it has left my hands. I highly recommend you turn on Tracking Notifications once your receive your tracking number. This will allow you to estimate shipping times and contact the Postal Service directly for any issues or delays.

Do you accept returns?

All items are made to order, because of this I do not take returns or exchanges. Please take extra care to check the size charts and ask any questions before you place your order.

What fabrics are used to make your clothing?

All fabrics are American and/or European milled, OEKO Tex Certified or Organic Certified, and CSPC compliant.

What does OEKO Tex Certified mean?

"Toxins on some textiles can harm your health through breathing, skin contact and saliva. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified products have been tested for harmful substances to protect your health. This label certifies that every component of the product, from the fabric to the thread and accessories, has been rigorously tested against a list of up to 350 toxic chemicals."

You can learn more about the OEKO Tex process HERE.

Are your clothes GOTS Certified Organic?

The U.S. made organic fabric that I purchase is GOTS certified by the manufacturer. However, in order for me to list them as GOTS certified, both the distributor that I use to purchase these fabrics, and myself would have to go through the certification process for each of our employees. At this time, that is just not feasible for my small home-based business.

Is C+T just for boys?

While I do have little boys in mind while creating each piece, I try to keep things mostly gender neutral. This means you most definitely can buy C+T clothing for your daughter! It also allows for each item to be handed down between multiple children.

Help! The tag on one of our items has gotten a little hard and scratchy. Is there any way to fix this?

Yes! One of the great benefits to the iron-on tags, is that they are meant to be soft and unnoticeable for children who are sensitive. If you are having an issue, it can be remedied!

To soften a tag:

  1. Place your garment on a flat surface.
  2. Take a piece of wax paper, and place it shiny side down (against the tag).
  3. Rub a warm iron across the top of the wax paper and label.
  4. Allow to cool, remove the wax paper, and it should be good to go!
